Seeking a SALT Manager to oversee the preparation and review of State & Local Tax returns. The role requires expertise in multi-state tax compliance, strong analytical skills, and experience in Big 4 or professional services environments. The candidate will collaborate with federal tax teams and support tax audits while engaging in process improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
6 - 10 years of experience in US Taxation, with SALT exposure.
Proven experience in SALT return review and filing.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Review and prepare State & Local Tax (SALT) returns.
Perform state apportionment calculations and analyses.
Assist with nexus determination and tax exposure assessments.
Handle state tax notices and responses to authorities.
Support quarterly and annual tax compliance cycles.
