8+ years of experience in software development role
- 6+ years of Main Frame hands-on development experience
- 2-3+ years of Java and Java family of technologies experience
- Expert-level knowledge in Mainframe technologies
- Ability to lead design and implementation decision-making for complex system enhancements
- Expert on CICS, DB2, COBOL, JCL
- Knowledge of IMS / IDMS scr
- Ability and passion to learn modern platforms such as: Java, EJB, Spring boot, Rest APIs, Micro services, Kubernetes
- Experience with relational database (DB2) and/or other RDBS products
- Experience with MongoDB or Other leading No SQL datastore
- Experience implementing Microservice Architecture patterns
- Working Knowledge with application development on MuleSoft, Azure cloud and Kubernetes
- Experience working in a product team with other developers including tech lead, product owner, scrum master, quality engineers etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
- Background in Financial Services preferred
