IT Software And Services Sourcing

The position is part of the Strategic Procurement Unit will support Pan India sourcing of IT software Category for licenses, applications, cloud services and related services including but not limited to Core Banking, Retail Assets, Payment solutions, etc. Role requires strong collaboration with the key stakeholders in IT and Business unit to understand their requirement, recommend right sourcing strategy, identify suitable vendors, float enquiry / RFP/ Tender, conduct negotiations and finalise rate contract. Identify opportunities and work on innovative solution to optimize the TCO for each spend categories Research the vendor market to gain good knowledge and understanding and explore alternate solutions Interact with the internal customers and work closely with them to identify areas of improvement Develops relationships with key / critical external partners in accordance with the organizational policies to ensure desired benefits, innovation and risk management is met Support the discussion on contractual terms and finalization of various agreements related to the product and services sourced in consultation with the Business, Legal and other stakeholder teams Support the discussion on contractual terms and finalization of various agreements related to the product and services sourced in consultation with the Business, Legal and other stakeholder teams Person should have relevant experience of 7-10 years in the IT sourcing domain, with at least 3 years in a similar role Person should have strong understanding about the commercial terms and vendor eco-system for relevant category Graduate /Engineer/ Postgraduate with professional course in Supply Management will be preferred. Should have strong experience in managing stakeholders Prior experience in Strategic Sourcing: Designing and conducting RFP, RFI, RFQ, Reverse Auction Prior experience is driving cost management initiatives and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation Prior experience in Supplier development, Spend Analytics, Market Analysis, Value Engineering and Contract management Previous experience of sourcing for similar categories in/for Banking industry is highly desirable Process oriented with excellent communication, influencing, collaboration and problem-solving skills Ability to manage ambiguity and ambiguous situations Position will report to Lead Strategic Sourcing – IT Software
