Business Analyst

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of business operations and IT systems, preferably within the Banking or Financial Services domain. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and preparing documentation/user stories in alignment with SDLC best practices. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges. • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. • Prepare detailed documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and User Stories. • Collaborate with development, QA, and project teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented. • Support the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. • Conduct impact analysis, gap analysis, and feasibility studies. • Participate in UAT planning and assist in test case creation and validation. • Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Qualifications: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Good understanding of business operations and IT systems; experience in Banking or Finance is a strong plus. • Hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall). • Proficiency in using documentation tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, or similar. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience as a Business Analyst in a Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech environment. • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, payments, lending, or core banking systems. • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Agile (e.g., CSPO, SAFe) is a plus. ________________________________________ Why Join Us? • Work with a dynamic and collaborative team. • Exposure to cutting-edge financial technologies and digital transformation projects. • Opportunity to grow and upskill in both business and technology domains.
